Gerneral information
The T-Balancer is the first climate control system with a truly unique noiseless mode. Traditional fan control systems only reduce the fan speed by 50%, while the T-Balancer reduces the fan speed by 90%. It is even possible to completely stop, or turn the fan off, without any harm to your PC, something which is highly unique for fan control systems world-wide.
The fan speeds, in relation to the measured temperature, are customized via Windows-Software. Up to 8 calibrated temperature sensors are supported. With 95% effectiveness, there is no performance loss, no additional heat dissipation and overall energy efficiency is maximized. With its own microprossor, the T-Balancer controls temperature and speed, including valuable safety functionality to ensure a long life for all components. Some advantages of our new climate control system include: - Unique noiseless mode
- Minimizes fan speed by 90%
- 60 Watts for 4 channels
- Open configuration with Windows-Software
Features of software and hardware
- The best in breed technology available to offer a complete noiseless mode for your PC - manages full stop of fans when measured temperature is low
- The first world wide to minimize fan speed by 90%, compared to the average 50% found on the market today
- 60 Watts for 4 channels, each channel with 15 Watts
- Open configuration with Windows Software via USB
- Unsurpassed flexibility in the way you configure and operate fan speed and temperature to achieve a noiseless PC environment
- Unit has its own microprocessor chip
- Temperatur Sensors are connected with a new easy plug bus system; supports up to 8 sensors
- Temperature Sensors can be calibrated
- 95% degree of effectiveness with no performance loss or heat dissipation
- Built-in protection against permanent fan blockage, safety alarm and speed meter functionality
- Unit does not take up valuable space, can be installed internally
Configuration assistant An assistant guides you step by step through the customization process:

Tacho signals In the cockpit you can observe actual speeds and temperatures.
Manual Mode You can take over control and immediately active manual controls and influence the fan speeds directly.

Calibration of sensors According to the distance between the sensors and the origin of heat, the sensors must be calibrated. This is easy accomplished with software system monitors that come with the mainboard (like Asus Probe, Intel Active Control, and more).

Definition of limits Here you have to define the temperature limits. Above these limits all fans speeds will be operating at 100%. Under these limits the speed will range according to the measured temperatures. A delay (hysteresis) can be defined with "leave“ values.

Relation between sensors and fans Sensors can be related freely to the 4 fan channels
- many sensors per channel
- many channels per sensor

Speed-Temperature profiles The user can chose from a variety of predefined profiles or can freely design their own curve with 5 definition points which connect to a curve.

For every channel your own curve can be designed. The input of the curve is the measured temperature (the highest if more than one sensor is related to the actual channel). The output of the curve is the performance of the fans (0-100%) Bus technology of sensors Up to 8 temperature sensors can be connected to the control unit. If there are more than one sensors related to a channel, then the highest temperature will influence the characteristic. Every sensor can be calibrated to get the true temperature of the heat source.
Safety functions
- If everything is OK, all LEDs on the control unit blink slowly
- If a fan stops, the control unit will speed up its full performance. If the fan stands or stops still with 100% (12V) power a failure message (connected LEDs and buzzer) will be activated
- If a temperature sensor looses its connection, the fan control speeds up to 100%.
- At startup all fans will be tested with 100% power.
- If temperature limit is exceeded by 10%, buzzer and LED signals are activated
Controller and firmware - Monitoring of up to 8 temperature sensors with I2C-bus.
- PWM speed regulation of max. 4 channels
- Full stop 0 u/min is managed
- Exact speed regulation is possible from 10% to 100%
- Pre-adjustments by manufacturer: all fans with maximum speed
- Fail-Safe: all fans with maximum speed
- Safety Control with buzzer and light signals
- Tachosignal: Speed is calculated
- Manual mode possible
