Gerneral information Using the Zalman CNPS10X Extreme you can cool all current AMD and Intel processors without any problems. The socket types 775, 1156 and 1366 are supported as well as the types 754, 939, 940, AM2, AM2+ and AM3. The five u-shaped heatpipes transfer the heat from the pure copper bottom plate to the aluminium fins above. The quiet 120mm PWM-fan ensures a good cooling of the fins with a minimum of noise. The cooling performance is suitable for up to 340W of heat. The included PWM Mate fan controller allows to adjust the rpm range of the fan (1000-1500rpm, 1000-1950rpm or 1000-2150rpm). In addition to the range adjustment it is also possible to set the fan speed manually with the Zalman PWM Mate controller. The Zalman CNPS10X Extreme is mounted using a backplate so its required to remove the board from the chassis in order to mount the cooler. Due to his dimensions the cooler cannot be used in all chassis. To prevent mounting problems you should check the space in your system before ordering. |
