The Verax X23 allows you to cool you Intel XEON system quiet and efficient. The high performance heatsink with three integrated U-shaped heatpipes tranfers the heat efficiently from the copper base to the fins. The cooler is designed for use with Dual-CPU systems.

The quiet 80mm fan has the Verax PWM/T technology integrated. The PWM/T technology uses the temperature and the PWM-Signal of the board to calculate the required fan speed. At low temperatures the heatsink has enough capacity to store the additional heat so an increase of the fan speed is not necessary even if the PWM-Signal of the board requests an increase of the fan speed. At higher temperatures the heatsink cannot buffer more heat so if the board indicates to raise the fan speed due to more system load the fan increases it?s speed directly. So in other words: the influence of the PWM-Signal increases with the temperature. That avoids short-term increases of the fan speed due to short-term high system load situations. If the Verax fan does not get a PWM-Signal it behaves like a normal temperature controlled fan, so it is possible to use it with or without PWM-Signal.

The heatsink can be mounted on socket 1366.

The cooler can also be used on systems which do not support PWM. The integrated temperature sensor will control the fan speed then automatically.
