The six heatpipes and the nickel plated copper base of the Thermalright Venomous X ensure sufficient cooling for all current socket 775/1156/1366 and AM2/AM3 processors.

The Thermaltight Venomous X is designed for use with an optional 120mm fan. The special shaped aluminium lamellas reduce turbulances in the airflow and weight of the cooler compared to full copper heatsinks.

The heatsink is screwed to the mainbaord so the board has to be dismounted from the chassis in order to install the Thermalright cooler.
