General Information The really big SilentMaxx BigBlock has a cooling surface of 5,850cm² and is able to cool processors of up to 65W TDP as a passive cooler without any fan (good chassis ventilation required). In combination with the included 120mm fan you can use it for all CPU speeds on all current sockets. The 10 heatpipes ensure that the heat is transmitted fast to the big lamellas. The 120mm fan needs only a low airflow to deliver brilliant cooling results. Due to the high weight of the silentMaxx BigBlock the cooler is mounted using a backplate - so the mainboard has to be dismounted before mounting the heatsink. Because of the big cooler dimensions you should check the amount of space in your chassis before ordering. |
