General Information The mCubed EF28 is an external and fanless power supply for PC systems. The power of up to 280 watts is sufficient for current PC models using power saving processors like i.e. Intel Core 2 Duo or Core Duo. The construction as an external power supply avoids that the lost heat of the power supply is emitted into the chassis. The connection between the power supply is made by a HiFi cable which can be disconnected if necessary. Inside the PC an adaptor curcuit board converts the input voltage to the needed voltages for the PC. The external power supply can advance the picture and sound quality of the PC because it avoids interferences between the power supply and internal PC components due to the distance between PC and power supply. The mCubed EF28 can be used with mainboards with 24pin connector using an adaptor which is available seperately. |
