Gerneral information The newly developed beQuiet! silentWings fans ensure a quiet PC operation with sufficient cooling. Due to the airflow optimized fan blades the fan emits a minimum noise and the integrated fan decouplers reduce the transmission of vibrations to the chassis. The Fluid-Dynamic-Bearing with copper core extends the lifetime of the fan due to a frictionless bearing operation. The fan is connected with a 4pin connector where the fourth pin is used for the speed signal. The signal of the motherboard is transferred into the rotation speed of the fan internally. A feature of the beQuiet silentWings fan is a minimum rotation speed of 500rpm at a PWM level of 0% which ensures a minimum airflow all the time. The fan can also be connected to a 3pin connector. In this case the fan will work like a normal 3pin fan. The fan speed can be controlled by the input voltage then. Another great feature of the fan is the low starting voltage of only 3.5V when connected with 3pins which is perfect for the use with fan controllers because the revolution speed bandwidth is maximized. |
