General Information With the quiet CPU cooler Zalman CNPS9700 LED you can cool all current AMD Athlon 64 and Intel Pentium 4 processors without any problems. The socket type 775 is supported as well as the types 754, 939, 940 and AM2. The Zalman CNPS9700 is designed like the smaller CNPS9500. The three curved heatpipes transfer the heat from the pure copper bottom plate to the 0.2mm thin copper fins around the 110mm fan. This design offers maximum cooling efficiency. You can individually adjust the cooling performance to your needs with the included Zalman FanMate 2 controller. The fan-speed is adjustable between 1.250 and 2.800rpm. Even for friends of modded systems the CNPS9700 LED is a good choice. The blue lightened fan in combination with the cooler design gives your system a special touch. The mount the cooler you will have to assign a mounting frame to your mainboard which makes it neccessary to remove the mainboard from the chassis. The CNPS9700 comes with the super thermal grease Zalman ZM-STG1 for optimal heat transfer. Due to his dimensions the cooler cannot be used in all chassis. To prevent mounting problems you should check the space in your system before ordering. |

Special care should be taken when moving a computer equipped with a cooler that exceeds the specified weight limit. Zalman is not responsible for any damage that occurs when moving a computer.
