General Information The Scythe Kaze Server fan controller enables you to control up to four fans and four temperature inside your PC independently. A bulit-in security feature informs you visually and acoustically if a sensor fails or the temperatur rises over 75°C. You can choose between Celsius and Fahrenheit for the shown temperatur by a jumper on the backside of the control panel. You can set the fans voltage for each channel between 3.75 and 12V. This allows a maximum of control over your system fans. Its even possible to switch of the fans by turning the knob totally to the left. The controller offers an automatic mode where you can define a temperature for each channel. The fans speed will be adjusted automatically by the Scythe Kaze Server. If the real temperature is very low compared to the desired temperature the fan is stopped. In the semi-automatic mode the fan will be controlled automatically but the fan will always work with a manually defined minimum speed. The fan controller mounts in a free 5.25" device bay. The power is supplied by a 4pin device power connector. The frontpanel is made of brushed aluminium which makes the controller also an optical highlight. The knobs have a lenght of approx. 10mm. |
