General Informaion Cool your ATI or nVidia VGA card with the high performance and quiet ArcticCooling Acceleron Twin Turbo Pro cooler. The cooler replaces the standard cooler of the card and ensures extreme cooling which is perfect for gamers. The performance is impressive - compared to a standard cooler of a ATI HD4870 (2500rpm) the temperature is only 47°C (at 2000rpm) while it is 54°C with the original cooler. The noise level is also much lower at only 0.3 Sone compared to 4.5 Sone at 2500rpm fan speed with the standard cooler. Four integrated heatpipes transfer the heat directly from the bottom plate to the aluminium lamellas. The two 92mm PWM controlled fans ensure a proper and quiet cooling of the fins. In order to mount the cooler it is required to remove the original cooling system of the card. Manufacturers warranty might be void. |
