The Scythe Hard Disk Stabilizer decouples your 3.5" disk from the chassis. It is mounted in a free 5.25" bay. Without decoupling the disk vibrations are transmitted to the chassis and get audible.

The Scythe hard disk decoupler is easy to mount. Even the decoupled disk is fixed properly and you can transport the PC without any risk (i.e. the disk is falling out of the decoupling frame).
