The Sharkoon HDD Vibe-Fixer will decouple your hard drive from the chassis effectively. Every hard drive has vibrations resulting from the fast head movements and the motor inside. When the drive is fixed without a decoupling mechanism the vibration can be converted into disturbing noise by the case. The Sharkoon HDD Vibe-Fixer reduces the transmission of vibrations to the chassis and thereby it makes your hard drive quieter.

The hard drive decoupler can even be used with fast drives having bigger heat development because the mounting frame allows to mount an optional 80mm fan under the HDD. For best results we recommend to mount the fan also with decoupling fan mounts.

If the system is send i.e. with a parcel service we recommend to remove the hard drives because they are not fixed and might slide out of the Vibe-Fixer which can cause damage.
