General Information The Alpenfoehn Gletscherspalte CPU cooler is a powerful heatsink combined with a 120mm fan. The sandwich design optimizes the cooling power of the Gletscherspalte. The cooler mounts on socket 775 and 754/939/940/AM2. Six heatpipes transfer the heat from the copper bottom plate to the two seperate heatstinks above it. The 120mm fan is mounted between the two sets of lamellas so it cools on the intake side as well. The fans airflow direction can be changed in order to your needs. If your chassis has a side fan (outblowing) you can change the direction of the cooler fan so the airflow goes directly from the CPU cooler to the chassis fan. This reduces the temperature inside the chassis. |
